Woodward, they reported, depicts Trump as a dangerous 5-year-old who must be constantly manipulated by his staff to stop him from setting America on fire.   • Our Revolution President Nina Turner to Join Voting Rights Events with Women’s March and Congressional Black Caucus
WASHINGTON – Our Revolution, the political entity founded by U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders during the 2016 presidential election, today announced that its president, Nina Turner, will join two events advocating for expanded voting rights this Wednesday, September 12 in Washington, D.C.  At 11 AM, Turner will join Tamika D. Mallory, Co-President of the Women’s March, for Our Vote Matters, a roundtable discussion on voting, re-entry, and prison reform at New Bethel Baptist Church. At 2:30 PM, Turner will join a voting rights panel during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference. She will deliver remarks during Congressman Bobby Rush’s (D-IL) “Advancing Voter Justice and Voter Vigilance: A Special Speak Out and Empowerment Session for African American Voters” panel. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 12th from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in downtown D.C.

Educate the public about pressing issues confronting our nation, such as: affordable health care for all, income inequality, reform of the criminal justice system, climate change, justice for immigrants and equal rights for all people in South Carolina.  This will be accomplished through the organization of rallies, seminars and meetings as well as through social media.  These activities promote the social welfare of South Carolina citizens by allowing their voices to be heard and to become part of the local, state and national dialogue.
